IP 67 and IP 69K applications used to pose real challenges to any designers looking to house their electronics in a standard enclosure. Many designers were forced to take the expensive option of custom manufactured enclosures because the standard housings they really wanted could not guarantee protection beyond IP 66.
So that’s why three of ROLEC’s most popular aluminum enclosure ranges – aluCLIC, aluCASE and aluDISC – are available as IP 67 as standard and can also be specified up to IP 69K.
And another range, aluPLUS (IP 66) can be specified as IP 67 on demand.
