UV-Stable IP 66/IP 67 pole mount electronic enclosures
Gone are the days when you had to adapt general electronics housings for mounting on masts – now you can specify purpose-built pole mounted enclosures.
ROLEC’s technoPLUS range features a dedicated attachment for communications masts, lampposts and other street furniture. Cleverly designed location grooves for plastic or metal retaining straps enable the enclosures to be aligned either horizontally or vertically.
Tough and resilient technoPLUS is designed for outdoor use. It’s manufactured from UV-resistant ASA LURAN so it can withstand prolonged exposure to sunlight. IP 66 protection is standard – or you can make technoPLUS even more waterproof by specifying an IP 67 gasket. RFI/EMI gaskets are also available as an option.
Poles, masts and towers are not the easiest sites for installations – some can be at great height or exposed to poor weather. So like many ROLEC enclosures, technoPLUS can be installed with the lid closed to protect the electronics and seal. And if the lid does have to opened, the fixing screws are captured and there are polypropylene (PP) retaining straps which act as hinges. That means you won’t drop anything important components – no unnecessary trips up and down the ladder!
There are also polyoxymethylene (POM) lid trims which cover the fitting screws, providing added security and an extra degree of weather protection. ROLEC technoPLUS is available in five sizes ranging from 5.11" x 3.54" x 2.75" to 10.62" x 6.69" x 3.54".
The enclosures come in one standard color, Light Gray (RAL 7035) with Stone Gray (RAL 7030) lid trims and pole attachment and Window Gray (RAL 7040) lid straps. Custom colors are available on request.
