ROLEC extends its aluCASE diecast enclosures range

ROLEC has extended its bestselling aluCASE range of diecast aluminum electronics and electrical enclosures with four new sizes. There are now 29 sizes of aluCASE available, ranging from 2.95” x 1.97” x 1.30” to 12.99” x 7.87” x 4.72”.
The four new larger sizes are:
- 11.02" x 9.84" x 4.72"
- 14.96" x 9.84" x 4.72"
- 12.99" x 11.81" x 4.72"
- 16.92" x 11.81" x 4.72".
Base sections from the four new aluCASE sizes are common with ROLEC’s commandCASE range which features distinctive ‘wings’ for suspension arm applications.
ROLEC aluCASE enclosures are very tough (IP 66, IP 67, IP 69K) and extremely versatile – they can be fitted to walls, machines and bulkheads. Cases can be installed with the lid closed to help protect the seal and the electronics inside. The stainless steel screws are concealed by aluminum or ABS clip-on covers.
For installation and servicing, the lid is held in place by polypropylene retaining straps, removing the need for hinges. Options include transparent polycarbonate lids, integrated hinges (with no visible fixing screws), a key lock and RFI/EMI shielding. The standard color for aluCASE is gray (RAL 7040) but other colors are available on request (16 colors are held in stock and can be specified at no extra cost).
Customizing options include CNC milling and drilling; silk-screen and tampo printing of legends and logos; removal of PCB pillars to create extra space; assembly of cable glands and other components.
