ROLEC extends aluCASE die cast enclosures range
There are now 27 sizes in ROLEC’s popular aluCASE range – thanks to the recent addition of four new larger types. Previously 12.99" x 7.87" x 4.72" was the largest standard size for aluCASE, a highly elegant solution for engineers seeking robust electronics cases rated to IP66, IP67 and IP69K.
The four new sizes now make aluCASE an option for much larger projects: 11.02" x 9.84" x 4.72"; 14.96" x 9.84" x 4.72"; 12.99" x 11.81" x 4.72" and 16.92" x 11.81" x 4.72".
2014 is the 10th anniversary year for aluCASE and the sheer number of sizes available attests to the range’s popularity. With ‘go anywhere’ versatility and a wealth of technical features, aluCASE can be fitted to walls, machines and bulkheads.
Importantly, it can be installed with the lid closed – safeguarding the waterproof seal and the electronics. All the fixing screws are concealed (and protected) by grey thermoplastic POM or anodised aluminum trims. Polypropylene lid retaining straps remove the need for hinges – but if you’re dealing with heavier loads then optional hinges are available. They too have hidden fixings.
The four new sizes are all rated to IP66. All the other models are rated with IP67 with optional IP69K protection. Other options include a key lock for added security. Request a sample and see the quality of this superb range for yourself.
